What is Kratom and How Does It Work?
Kratom is one of the most fascinating discoveries in herbal care. It’s an evergreen tropical tree (Mitragyna speciosa) from the coffee family that is native to Southeast Asia. While Kratom has been adopted relatively recently in the US, it has been integral in Southeast Asian cultures for centuries.
Kratom’s rise in popularity is partly because people are more interested in natural botanicals and less interested in supporting multi-million dollar pharmaceuticals. Whatever the reason, Kratom users enjoy some pretty undeniable benefits.
Kratom can enhance optimism, boost feelings of wellness, heighten motivation, to help you focus on seizing the day. Many users rely on Kratom to help them restore their inner vitality.
We invite you to research a little more in-depth about how we do things and share our story—and our botanicals—with you.
Getting To Know Different Kratom Strains
There are many different options available on the market, each with its own specific desired effect. All Kratom originates as a natural tree leaf. Kratom starts as a red vein that runs through the middle of the leaf. After the leaf is harvested and processed, it can turn the Kratom product red, white, or green.
Differences in the processing change the color. For example, when the vein is fermented, it turns into a red strain of Kratom. But when it is dried, then ground down, the Kratom will have a greener hue. Each color can produce a different effect. Other hybrid blends like Yellow Kratom are a mixture of white and red.
Each color promotes a different effect. Each Kratom strain promotes different feelings in the user. For example, many people use red Kratom to help them wind down. But others may enjoy the uplifting feeling of green Kratom for their day-to-day.
In the beginning, many vendors misled customers and claimed there were different sources of Kratom. The reality is that there is only one source of Kratom, but what makes it different is the processing.
We offer the three primary (main) strains, Red vein, White vein, and Green vein, as well as Maeng Da, Yellow Kratom, and Bali. We also offer special mixed strains to get varied effects.
